We understand that getting the support you or your loved one needs can be confusing. Our team of care managers and registered nurses can make it easier for you.

Getting Support at Home is possible.

There are a few steps to getting help with Support at Home (if you haven’t already) and the team at DANS will be most happy to discuss it with you and help get the ball rolling.

At a high level, the steps include undergoing an assessment (to check eligibility) with My Aged Care, followed by awaiting a decision on approval. If approved, you are placed in the National Priority System (NPS) queue to receive your package. Your place on the queue is dictated by when you were approved along with your level of priority / urgency.

Support at Home can cover a wide range of services based on the individual's specific requirements. These may include:

Remember, it's possible to switch providers if needs change or if better services are offered elsewhere.
