How quickly can I put services in place?

We can move very quickly; usually putting support services in place within days. Our team is large enough to support you or your loved ones quickly, whilst still small enough to provide the quality of care you won’t get with the bigger companies.

What is involved in getting immediate care services underway?

It starts with quickly organising an assessment with one of our Registered Nurses. This assessment will look at the situations, needs and how a care plan can be rapidly put in place. As a local business, our staff are familiar with the Central West NSW and surrounding areas to make a quick visit and discuss needs in-person.

What services do you provide? Is it just Registered Nurses or can you help with more?

The quick answer: we provide a raft of services, and not all of them require a Registered Nurse. Our goals to help people remain independent and thrive at home.

If you or your loved one’s needs are “clinical” requiring medical assistance, this is where our Registered Nurses play a role. Our nurses can help with medications, wound care, catheter care and much more.

We also have a highly experienced and qualified care team that provide support above and beyond medical assistance.

The types of care assistance provided include:

  • Personal care (showering)
  • Medication assistance
  • Domestic (cleaning and laundry care)
  • Transport (medical appointments and social outings)
  • Shopping and meal preparation
  • Respite and end of life supports.

DANS also have a team of gardeners to assist with home maintenance.

Whilst DANS doesn’t have an ‘allied health team’ on staff, we have strong connections in the local community and erven strong relationships with health professional nearby.

We can assist with finding:

  • Occupational therapists
  • Physiotherapists
  • Dieticians and speech therapists
  • General practitioners and more.
What is your availability when it comes to home visits and services?

DANS In Home Care provides services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

We have the capacity to support every day of the week if it was required, with staff providing care around the clock, from early morning to overnight care. Depending on your care needs, DANS can support you through any of life’s testing moments.

What would services cost me?

DANS private services have no hidden fees or charges. Download DANS private fee schedule to understand our hourly costings. These fees are for working with DANS privately, and not as part of a Government package.

Will I get a roster for when support services are going to take place?

Yes. We will create a mutually agreeable roster for support services and visit times.

We can communicate this with you in multiple different ways to ensure that you have all the information you need about your service time and care requirements. We can communicate through text, phone call, email and DANS In Home Care App.

You can also view our scheduled visits through the DANS In Home Care App, along with request new services or amend existing arrangements. Perfect if you wish to manage services on behalf of an elderly loved one.
